Professional services firm continues long-standing commitment to southeastern Wisconsin business community
NAPERVILLE, Ill. — September 20, 2016 — Mark Sobczak, partner-in-charge of professional services firm Sikich LLP’s Milwaukee area office in Brookfield, was recently elected to the Waukesha County Business Alliance board of directors. During his three-year term, Sobczak will work with the rest of the board to improve the business climate and foster economic growth in Waukesha County.
“As someone who lives and works in Waukesha County, I’m honored to join the board of an organization with a nearly 100-year history of advocating for local businesses,” Sobczak said. “Sikich has a long-standing relationship with the Business Alliance, and I look forward to helping businesses across southeast Wisconsin collaborate more effectively.”
Founded in 1918, the Waukesha County Business Alliance has more than 1,100 members and works to strengthen the business community in Waukesha County. The board of directors is the governing body of the Alliance.
Beyond his involvement in the Business Alliance, Sobczak serves on the fundraising cabinet and is co-chair of the accounting division of the United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County. Sobczak also serves on the board of directors of the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce’s Council of Small Business Executives.
