NAPERVILLE, Ill. — July 14, 2015 — The American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), a not-for-profit technical institute and trade association, has selected Sikich LLP to perform audit and tax services.
The engagement will be led by Sikich’s Frank Jakosz, who has more than 40 years of experience in public accounting and heads Sikich’s not-for-profit and higher education practices. “We are pleased to partner with Sikich,” said AISC President Roger Ferch. “As we champion the cause of the structural steel industry, we need to continue to show our members and the public that we operate under strict controls, with complete transparency, in a fiscally responsible and efficient manner. Sikich’s experience working with not-for-profit organizations will help us ensure we are using the best financial practices available in the industry today.”
Sikich serves more than 500 not-for-profit clients and has more than 32 years of experience in the not-for-profit field working with trade associations, higher education institutions, social service organizations and other not-for-profit entities. Further, Sikich’s audit, accounting and tax practice offers a full range of services to clients across industries such as government, manufacturing and real estate.
“AISC has played an important role in a key sector of the U.S. economy for more than 90 years, and we’re proud to work with them,” Jakosz said. “Building off of our extensive experience in the not-for-profit industry, we look forward to partnering with AISC and helping them meet their long-term goals as an organization.”
