Tax practice joins Sikich’s Milwaukee office

Professional services firm grows in Milwaukee with addition of experienced tax team

CHICAGO — Jan. 2, 2019 — Professional services firm Sikich announced Wednesday that it has expanded its presence in Milwaukee with the addition of Mick Goossen, Bill Nortman, Tammy Lindvig, Steve Grunewald, Rebecca Giombi and their tax practice.

“Mick, Bill and their team bring valuable expertise on tax issues to our firm,” said Mark Sobczak, partner-in-charge of Sikich’s Milwaukee office. “I am confident they will fit seamlessly into our group in Milwaukee and continue to offer valuable counsel to clients as they help them address their tax challenges.”

Goossen, Nortman, Lindvig, Grunewald and Giombi offer domestic tax return preparation and advisory services to individuals and companies across industries. They also offer expatriate tax services, which include tax return and tax equalization preparation, assignment advisory and consulting, as well as management and administration of expatriate programs for companies.

“The unique international tax experience Mick, Bill and their team have will allow us to expand the services we offer clients,” said Neil Keller, partner-in-charge of tax services at Sikich. “In addition, these five individuals’ expansive knowledge will strengthen our tax services team across our firm’s footprint.”

Sikich offers its full range of services, including audit, accounting and tax, technology, as well as a wide mix of advisory and managed services, in its Milwaukee-area office in Brookfield, Wisconsin.

Goossen, Nortman, Lindvig, Grunewald and Giombi joined Sikich on Jan. 1. Goossen and Nortman joined the firm as partners.
