The Illinois CPA Society’s Board of Directors announced Brent DeMay as the new Chairperson of the Employee Benefits Committee for the April 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020 term.
“It’s an honor to contribute to the profession and collaborate with our market’s top practice leaders while being given the opportunity to make an impact upon the industry,” said Brent.
This newly appointed position is in addition to Brent’s seat on AICPA’s Employee Benefit Plans Accounting, Auditing & Regulatory Update (AARU) Committee held annually in Washington, D.C. He also serves on the IL CPA Society Employee Benefits Content Advisory Group, including task forces that plan and conduct the IL CPA Society’s semi-annual Employee Benefits conferences, and has served as the Committee Chairperson on a past conference.
Brent DeMay CPA, is a partner on Sikich’s accounting and consulting services team with an emphasis in employee benefit plan audits. He is experienced in auditing qualified retirement plans and welfare plans of various sizes sponsored by organizations across a variety of industries.
