Sikich named one of the Best Workplaces in Chicago™; Cotton, A Sikich Company named a Washington Post Top Workplace

CHICAGO – June 24, 2022 – Sikich was named one of the Best Workplaces in Chicago in 2022 by Great Place to Work® and Fortune Magazine. This is Sikich’s second consecutive year being named to the prestigious list and comes shortly after earning the Great Place to Work designation. Sikich is one of just 100 companies headquartered in the Chicago area to receive this honor.

This year’s Best Workplaces in Chicago award is based on employee feedback collected through America’s largest ongoing annual workforce study of over one million employee survey responses and data from companies representing more than 6.1 million U.S. employees. In that survey, 90% of Sikich’s employees said Sikich is a great place to work. This number is 57% higher than the average U.S. company.

“In this moment, I truly couldn’t be prouder,” said Heather Peters, chief human resources officer at Sikich. “Sikich’s ranking on this list is fundamentally rooted in the culture our people have built. To maintain this unique and innovative culture, Sikich is committed to providing the tools and resources our talent needs to have the best work experience at our organization.”

Cotton, A Sikich Company, was also honored as a 2022 Washington Post Top Workplace regional winner. This is the third consecutive year Cotton received a Top Workplace designation. The list is based solely on employee feedback that measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution and connection.

“Three consecutive years with this award under our belt is no small feat,” said Steven Koons, partner at Cotton. “The most rewarding part is knowing our people not only valued the workplace we molded as Cotton but also the culture we’re now creating as new members of the Sikich team.”
