Partner at professional services firm appears on the Financial Times 401 Top Retirement Advisers list for the fourth consecutive year
CHICAGO — Nov. 12, 2018 — Joe Connell, a partner in professional services firm Sikich’s retirement plan services practice, was named to the Financial Times’ list of top retirement advisers in the U.S. for the fourth consecutive year. The Financial Times 401 Top Retirement Advisers list recognizes advisers who specialize in serving defined contribution retirement plans.
“I am honored to be recognized again by the Financial Times,” Connell said. “A company’s retirement plan is a crucial piece of its talent recruitment and retention strategy. We are proud to be able to help companies build, manage and continually improve their retirement plans, and ensure their employees make the most of these plans.”
Sikich’s retirement plan services practice offers companies employee education services, fiduciary training for retirement plan committee members, an open-architecture trading platform, professionally managed portfolios, investment policy statement review and monitoring, comprehensive fee reviews, and benchmarking.
“Joe and his team are trusted advisers to companies across industries,” said Sikich CEO Chris Geier. “They play a valuable role in helping clients optimize their retirement plans and equipping employees with the tools they need to effectively plan for retirement. This is well-deserved recognition.”
Connell is an accredited investment fiduciary analyst (AIFA). He is also actively involved in the Plan Sponsor Council of America and was selected to participate in the Retirement Advisor Council, which advocates for successful retirement plan outcomes.
The Financial Times produces the FT 401 list in collaboration with Ignites Research.
