Leading professional services firm receives positive feedback from employees
NAPERVILLE, Ill. — Dec. 16, 2015 — Sikich LLP, a leading professional services firm, was recently named one of the best places to work in the Chicago area by the Chicago Tribune. The firm appears on the paper’s Top Workplaces list for the fourth time.
“We are excited and honored to be recognized again as a top workplace in Chicago,” said Sikich CEO Jim Sikich. “Even as we expand our footprint across the country, we continue to build on our strong presence in the Chicago area, where we started. We strive every day to make this a fun and rewarding place to work and are proud to receive such positive feedback from the employees who make us successful.”
Companies on the Chicago Tribune’s Top Workplaces list were ranked based on employee feedback. WorkplaceDynamics surveyed employees at 261 companies in the Chicago area. The first round of the survey assessed company leadership, compensation, training, workplace flexibility and diversity. The list was then narrowed down to include only the companies with employees who stated they enjoy their work, embrace the company’s mission and feel like valued teammates. To qualify, firms needed to have at least 100 employees.
“Top Workplaces is a unique event in that it recognizes leading companies but really pays respect to the employees that make up each organization and keep the businesses flourishing,” said Gerould Kern, editor of the Chicago Tribune. “We’re proud to support companies that foster growth and acknowledge the hard work of their employees.”
In addition to its offices in Naperville, Sikich has a strong presence in downtown Chicago. The firm offers a full range of services, including audit, accounting and tax, technology, investment banking and a variety of advisory and managed services out of its 12 offices across the country. Sikich has been named one of Chicago’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For by the National Association for Business Resources and has been recognized as a top place to work by the Daily Herald Business Ledger and the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, among others.
“Without our employees’ hard work and dedication, we could have never achieved our many successes,” Sikich said. “Anchored by our strong culture, we look forward to continued achievements and growth.”
