Sikich Welcomes Jody Hillenbrand as Principal in Employee Benefit Plan Audits

CHICAGO – April 14, 2025– Sikich, a Chicago-based leading global technology-enabled professional services company, announced that Jody Hillenbrand, CPA, has joined as principal in the employee benefit audit plan practice bringing more than 25 years of experience helping clients improve their accounting policies, procedures and reporting functions. She has deep expertise working with private, middle-market companies to enhance financial accuracy, operational efficiency and access to capital and will play an integral role in employee benefit plan and for-profit audit work 

Hillenbrand will participate in internal inspections, engagement quality reviews, pre-issuance report reviews training and consultations with engagement teams on technical matters. She will also oversee project execution and support staff development through training and mentoring. 

Hillenbrand holds a degree in accounting from the University of Texas and is a licensed CPA. She is a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), where she previously served on the executive committee of the AICPA’s Employee Benefit Plan (EBP) Audit Quality Center. She is also an active volunteer with the North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, Team RWB and Breakthrough T1D.
