Senior manager at professional services firm awarded for not-for-profit expertise and commitment to community
BROOKFIELD, Wis. — Feb. 6, 2018 — The Milwaukee Business Journal recently named Jill Boyle, a senior manager in the not-for-profit and higher education practices at professional services firm Sikich, one of the city’s top 40 leaders under the age of 40. She was recognized for her commitment to not-for-profit organizations in her professional career and personal life.
“Since moving to Milwaukee 15 years ago, I’ve sought to do what I can to give back to our great city,” Boyle said. “I’ve been fortunate to be able to do this and blend my passion for volunteering with my career as an accountant serving not-for-profit organizations. It is a great honor to receive this recognition.”
Boyle serves as a board member of both Running Rebels Community Organization, an organization that offers mentoring and educational opportunities to youth, and Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin Family Services, which provides employment, transportation, caregiving and housing services to individuals with Down Syndrome and their families. Additionally, she helped found Momentum Milwaukee, a networking community for emerging women leaders, and was a founding member of Impact100 Greater Milwaukee, a national organization of women who offer funding to local nonprofit organizations. Boyle is also part of the Greater Milwaukee Foundation’s Young Professional Advisor Group and a finance committee member for Meta House, a drug and alcohol treatment facility for women.
Boyle has more than 13 years of experience providing tax and compliance services to clients. As a senior manager at Sikich, Boyle advises not-for-profit organizations, including private colleges and universities, on Form 990 completion, tax planning, income structuring and more.
“Jill works tirelessly every day to make a positive impact in both her work with not-for-profit clients and in her contributions to the community,” said Mark Sobczak, partner-in-charge of Sikich’s Milwaukee office. “She is a deserving winner of this award, and we’re proud to have her on the Sikich team.”
