Sikich attended NetSuite’s Annual Conference, SuiteWorld 2024, which was held in Las Vegas. We had a great time meeting up with clients, prospects, and business partners. This year’s theme was “All Systems Grow”, which captured Oracle’s vision for businesses to expand and grow through technology. It highlighted how tools within NetSuite, such as AI and automation, can help companies grow in areas of their business such as finance, procurement, customer management, and e-commerce. The theme emphasized using advanced technology to make all parts of businesses more efficient and scalable by streamlining everyday tasks such as financial management and integrating systems like Salesforce and NetSuite.
Each day there was a different keynote presentation led by executives at NetSuite Oracle. The event was kicked off by Evan Goldberg, NetSuite’s founder and EVP. He always does an amazing job getting attendees excited for the week. One of the most impressive announcements was NetSuite currently has over 40,000 customers in 219 countries. Other speakers included Hillel Cooperman, SVP of Experience Design at Oracle and Jan Arendtsz, founder and CEO of Celigo.
Overall, my favorite part of the keynote sessions was witnessing the success stories of companies embracing NetSuite’s solutions, emphasizing the importance of adopting innovative technologies to drive business growth and efficiency.
SuiteWorld 2024 was packed with new announcements and product roll outs as usual. Below are some Key Features that we are very excited about!
AI and Generative AI Enhancements
One of the biggest takeaways was the integration of AI throughout NetSuite, designed to help businesses optimize their business processes, reduce everyday routine tasks, and improve decision-making. Areas that include AI enhancements are: NetSuite Financial Exception Management, SuiteAnalytics Assistant, and NetSuite Prompt Studio. These tools leverage AI to automate financial reconciliations, generate content, and manage workflows. There’s also a push toward generative AI, aimed at improving areas like marketing content creation, financial forecasting, and supply chain optimization.
Ask Oracle
A specific AI enhancement which helps users get quick answers to their questions got the crowd very excited! Ask Oracle allows users to ask natural questions about their data and get real time answers, without needing to be overly descriptive or complex.
The EPM suite saw updates that enhance financial forecasting, tax management, and expense categorization through AI-backed tools. These improvements are aimed at streamlining budgeting processes and reducing manual reconciliations.
NetSuite SuiteProcurement
This new feature integrates procurement workflows directly within NetSuite, offering punch-out services through Amazon Business and Staples Business Advantage. The system automates purchase orders, invoicing, and approvals, streamlining both the procurement and financial processes, while giving users better visibility into their spending.
SuiteProjects Pro
Designed for industries like healthcare and services, this feature focuses on automating project management and field service tasks. It’s part of the broader push toward industry-specific solutions, tailored for sectors such as manufacturing, software, and distribution.
NetSuite Analytics Warehouse (NSAW)
One of the key updates announced was the introduction of Auto-Insights, which automates data analysis by detecting trends. This feature will help users identify important business patterns more quickly. Additionally, Oracle Analytics AI Assistant was added to allow users to query and retrieve data, making it easier for non-technical users to interact with the data.
We are looking forward to learning more about these new enhancements and will continue to share how we end up incorporating these features within our own client base.
Don’t miss out next year, as Oracle already announced SuiteWorld will be back in Las Vegas between October 6th– 9th, 2025. We hope to see you there!
