Andy Powell, CPA, is a partner with over 30 years of experience in accounting and audit services. He has extensive experience providing CFO, assurance and management consulting services to government contractors and a wide variety of not-for-profit organizations, including associations and public charities. In addition, Andy has experience with indirect cost rate determination, the DCAA audit process and compliance under the FAR.
Andy builds strong relationships with the clients he serves, which enables him to gain an understanding of their business needs and challenges in order to help them approach business decisions. He has served on the boards of various not-for-profit organizations, including positions such as treasurer as well as audit and finance committee members. Andy is a frequent guest speaker at professional conferences and development workshops for businesses and not-for-profit organizations.
Outside of the office, Andy is a passionate gardener, certified beekeeper and home improvement do-it-yourselfer. He is also a family man and has two adult sons.
